Formation
The Founding of Our Neighborhood Council
On August 27, 2018, the North Westwood Neighborhood Council was chartered by the Board of Neighborhood Commissioners, making NWWNC the 98th Neighborhood Council in the City of Los Angeles.
The North Westwood Neighborhood Council was formed from the subdivision of an existing neighborhood council, the Westwood Neighborhood Council.

Westwood Village Specific Plan Amendments
Since its inception, NWWNC expressed full support for amendments to the Westwood Village Specific Plan that addressed many concerns that existed prior to and during its founding process.
